1. Should I repair my appliance or just replace it?
Answer: This is the eternal question, ins’t it?
When you replace an appliance, you have to know how much value it has left. A repair could make your appliance last much longer. For instance, we perform a lot of dryer belt replacements. Depending on the make and model, it can cost the customer a good chunk of money, but it’s always less than a new dryer, and then that dryer might last for another decade!
Our diagnostic service can help you determine whether a replacement or repair will make more sense for your budget and household.
2. Does TJ’s Appliance Repair Price Match?
Answer: Yes, we will. The competing appliance repair company’s quote must be made available to us in writing and it must be for the exact same repair and part.
3. Do you provide appliance repair part sales?
Answer: We will sell you parts, but only paired with our installation service.
Let me explain why: Our technicians keep some appliance repair parts on hand because they are the most popular parts that commonly need to be replaced. If we sold those, then we wouldn’t have them ready for the next customer that needed it.
4. Do you provide same-day service?
Answer: Yes! We know how frustrating it can be to have a broken appliance, so we try our hardest to provide same-day service. It is not possible in every case, but we will always make our best effort.
5. What appliance makes and models do you repair?
Answer: We repair all major home appliance brands. Our technicians are factory-certified by Whirlpool, Maytag, Bosch, Miele, Wolf, and Sub-Zero. We also work on other popular appliance brands such as GE, Kenmore, Frigidaire, and Viking.
6. Why do you have a service charge?
Answer: We would love to offer free service calls and estimates, but unfortunately, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. If we gave out free service calls on every call, then we’d have to cut corners elsewhere to compensate our employees fairly for their time— and TJ’s Appliance Repair does not cut corners.
