Our History and Our Future: Words From Our Owner

Hi, I’m Tommy! I own TJ’s Appliance Repair and love it.

When I was a kid, I was selling appliances at my pop’s store. It was a family affair and all my siblings worked together to make us successful. Later on, I moved to the Staten Island area and set up my own shop selling appliances (new and used).

Eventually, most appliances run into a problem before they reach the end of their expected service life. When a customer asked us to repair a refrigerator or dryer, we’d have them bring in the appliance, drop it off and we brought in a team of repair experts to fix the problem.

In time, I became more interested in the repair side of the business than the retail side, so I changed my business to focus solely upon appliance repair all over Staten Island! We’ve operated exclusively as an appliance repair shop since 2003.

I don’t require you to bring in your appliance anymore. Instead, we make it convenient and come to your home instead. However, the quality of our repairs hasn’t changed, nor has our focus on customer service!
